Get to know Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a linguistically diverse country. Despite its small geographical size are spoken several languages, it's primarily the official Spanish language. In the Caribbean region as well as Spanish are also spoken Patua and in the reserves of indigenous peoples speaks Maleku, Cabécar, Bribri, Guaymí and Bocotá. Special features there are also different regional dialects and many Ticos speak Pachuco.
For Costa Rica travelers english language skills are not very helpful, basic knowledge of Spanish is recommended.
