COLON
Although the port city of Colon which is located on the Atlantic coast, often referred to as a dangerous place, but no tourist would need to fear for life and limb if they adhere to a few rules that apply in all port cities worldwide. Colon is the second largest free trade area after Hong Kong and home to four major container terminals that are located right on the Panama Canal. DARIEN
Much of Panama's natural ecosystem is in the province of Darien. The richness of species and the unique flora and fauna due to the isolated location which takes part in the far east to the border of Colombia. The only road (Panamerican Highway) came only to Rio Chico at the border of the Darien National Park. The biological stations in the interior are accessible only by trails, waterways and air. To the Gulf of San Miguel and the Pacific coast can only reach by boat or plane.
