MANAGUA
The full name of the nation's capital is "Leal Villa de la Ciudad de Managua", it means in the native language of Nahuat "Mana-ahuac", which translates as "surrounded by water" that the area has many lakes and lagoons. LEON
The University City "Santiago de los Caballeros de Leon" or in short known as Leon is the capital of the province with the same name. In the region there are volcanoes as "Laguna de Asososca", "Cerro Negro", "Hervideros San Jacinto", "Momotombo" and "Telica" and two biological reserves "Isla Juan Venado" and "Arbol El Tamarindon". MASAYA
Masaya is the manufacture center for hand made wood, leather, ceramics and stone handicrafts and received in the year 2000 the title "Ciudad del folclore de Nicaragua" by the Government. Masaya is one of the few places in the world where made cigars by hand with highest quality. Another major attraction is the "Parque Nacional Volcan Masaya" where you can look directly from the parking area in the crater. In the Old Market of Masaya You will find many beautiful memories including furniture, shoes, hammocks, clothing, musical instruments and much more. GRANADA
The colonial city of Granada was one of the first cities were built by Europeans in the Americas and spent more than four centuries as the region's economic center. CARAZO
Jinotepe, 45 miles south of Managua is the capital of the province of Carazo. In Jinotepe can find some beautiful old buildings in the neoclassical style. RIVAS
The province of Rivas is full of attractive targets, especially in the unspoilt beaches of the coast in Lake Nicaragua or on the Pacific Ocean. SAN JUAN RIVER (SAN CARLOS)
